Real doodles, on real paper.

Clearly, I haven't had proper time to blog in a while so I think your next surprise post will be a conglomeration of unimaginably random things that have happened to me over the last month. It's going to be, in a word, AMAZING!
Until then, I thought you might enjoy these doodles that I drew in class.

Exhibit 1: I think this was supposed to Monica with a ponytail.

Exhibit 2: I was sad that day...
(My favorite is me with crazy eyes, next to me... skydiving? Holy crap, you guys, look how SAD I was!!!
And that bottom right picture-- was I haven't a seizure??)

Exhibit 3: How come you guys didn't sign me up with a shrink or something?
(Number 3 is how I feel when I say "emo.")

Exhibit 4: Monica clearly distracted me with talk of travel. As you can see, I made up my mind.

Exhibit 5: Oh, and Deyhana was there, too, but she was ignoring me, setting up a birthday party or something.

Overly dramatic reactions

Once in a while I surprise myself with my ridiculousness. My reactions to even basic things are overly dramatic. Today, I was thankful that I'm not the only one.

Thanks, Deyhana! It's good to know I'm not the only one!

Spring has sprung... or HAS it?

This morning, I left for work after it had been snowing and freezing raining all night.

(Start shoveling montage.)

For those of you who remember Snowpocalypse 2011, like two months ago, we got like 10" of snow in a day and it was like Y2K all over again. As if the world was ending... But today's snow was way worse than that. We had about 5" of snow in our driveway, covering a sheen of ice and covered in a sheen of ice. At least with Snowpacolypse I could get out of my driveway. Granted I seem to be the only person who had any problems today but I still thought it was ridiculous. Super wet and heavy snow, plus ice? That's way more of a pain than the Snowpacolypse stuff.

But shoveling wasn't so bad, besides heavy. It wasn't frigidly cold out and the breeze was just right. :)

Please block of the next dozen years of your calendar.

Last month at work, we rearranged about 40 cabinets, uncovering 3 or 4 different colors of paint and scratching up the floors pretty badly. I decided to put a fresh coat of paint down last Friday. It took longer than I thought, but in the middle of it, I had a LOL moment.

Uh????  It was popping up that it conflicted with other things in my schedule (imagine that!) and that I sent it to a "group."

Oh great... Who did I send it to?

Fortunately, I only invited two people to my event. Still, this is a good reminder of the things that can happen when you don't lock the screen of your touch-screen phone before putting it in your pocket.

I may not have butt-dialed anyone and been embarrassed that way, but I think it's worse when that
I butt-scheduled this "WwwwwwOow" event
in the Brussels time zone
that lasted 12 years, 8 months, and a day,
and sent it to a group as an invitation.

Oy.
